:o  I went for my pre-op examination and the doctor was very knowledgeable about Sjogren's, what a shock!  This is the third doctor in 4 weeks that knew more than dry eye and dry mouth.  Maybe there is hope ;D

Blimey Epson you are doing well - you'd better warn them all to expect a rush on because we'll all be going to see them!!!

And I always thought we had 2 hopes of finding doctors who knew about it - no hope and Bob hope!!!!

The neurologist I saw a couple of weeks ago also knew about SS.  I expected nothing, but he surprised me.
He didn't do anything for me--but that's another story.  Or another dr visit.  Lucy

I'm so disappointed.....my doc that was great and believed in my original Sjogrens suspiction sent me a letter today that he sold the practice and a new medical group is taking it over.   I really counted on his openness to my doing my own research since so many doctors take the attitude that they know more than you.  I hate that I have to start over with a new doctor.   I know there is nothing that can be said about it but I'm just dissappointed.

Hi Steve,

I'm sorry to hear that, doctors that know about SJS are not common, but this new group might just suprise you.  Please keep us updated.

Hey Steve,

Is there any chance you canfollow this dr to where he is going or is he retiring. I know how diosappointing it is when a doc leaves. i told my immunologist he cant retire till i die.

Hi Pud,  he is opening his new location about 4 hours away.  Since I can no longer drive that is not really an option for me.
