I think this is an excellent article, and a great new direction for the treatment of Sjogren Disease. I've always been lucky enough to have a rheumatologist who embraced the holistic school of thought, and always referred to it as disease rather than syndrome.

Basically the only differences I see in this new paper from the treatment I've received, is the change in the use of steroids and immunosuppressives, but after 20 years of treatment with them, I can't see them being withdrawn in my case, especially the steroids.

It's also good to see some detail and adjustment in the Lymphoma risk odds, rather than a flat out statement of increased risk across the board, which needlessly concerned people in a lot of cases.

Thank you, Sunflower, for bringing this to our attention. I love your name for us, Sjo-journers!

Thanks, Linda.   :)
I was encouraged by the fact that Sjogren Disease is being evaluated and updated - in-depth and from a variety of angles.
I'm probably not the first person who has thought of the name. I glad you like it.
