Bra suggestions for painful ribs

Hi friends,

Unusual question no doubt.  I have had rib cage and muscle pain for decades. This makes wearing a bra so very painful but let's face it, they are a necessity.

Do you have a suggested brand and style of bra that won't bring me to tears?

The pain is thanks to fibromyalgia I'm guessing. It is constant, and wearing a bra just makes it worse.

Generally I wear the bra from Shapermint.  You can order those online.  They are very comfortable and it won't dig into your ribs but the support if you are big busted is not great.  If I'm going somewhere fancy and wearing a tighter fitting garment, I suck it up and wear a Soma underwire.  But I try not to as much as I can because underwires do hurt my ribs if on too long.

Thank you for the suggestion, Liz D.  I purchased a few different styles of bras from Shapermint, and I really like them.  It took a long time to get them because they needed to get through customs, but I learned that I could order on the Canadian site so that would eliminate that.
