irish- Thanks, for some reason the Prednisone drops don't do much for me anyways. Only oral Prednisone helped when I was on it in the past.

Tharrell- Thanks for the Doxycycline drops idea! In what way did it help your eyes?
Sjogren's (+ RA): positive ANA, RNP, RNP-A, APCA. Severe eye dryness + inflammation, multiple sensitivities and allergic reactions, fatigue.

It helped clear up the blepheritis which in turn allowed the natural oils to again mingle with the tear film and thus it helped the dry eyes. Cause and effect.

That is really interesting about the doxycycline drops. Doxycycline is one of the antibiotics that have an anti-inflammatory effect. Every time I take doxycycline for a sinus infection I would feel so much better all over my body. Good to know that this is something to be used on the eyes. Hope others can read this thread and find out the good news. Irish

This is good to know Tharrell.
I was once prescribed Doxycycline for my eyes but as oral antibiotics which I didn't want to take because of side effects.
I would definitely be open to try them as eye drops.
