M3R autoantibody and IVIG treatment - anyone?

I read multiple research papers which says that m3r autoantibody is found in 50-80% of sjogren patients. And it is known to cause the dry eyes and dry mouth by breaking down the communication. This paper below says that IVIG is proven to give relief from dry eyes and mouth.

Wanted to know if anyone has this m3r autoantibody?

Also have you tried IVIG treatment and how was the result?

Just a little side light. I have Sjogrens diagnosed in 2003. I have not had terribly dry mouth or eyes, but had enough problems over 39 years to lose all my teeth. Have been on Restasis since 2004 and started it when my eyes started getting dry. The eye dryness was the last symptoms I got actually.

Now, I also have Myasthenia gravis and have been on a high dose IVIG since 2006 once a month. I have still had all the other problems related to Sjogrens such as the stomach issues, tendonitis big time and aches and pains, neuropathy....you name it. I have never felt that the IVIG has improved my Sjogrens. However, in all fairness, it is possible that the IVIG has kept me from deteriorating terribly from it. This will be interesting to watch and hope there is some substantiation to the claim. Irish

I see tha older publications, 2013 and older, show M3R antibodies correlation in sjogren's. Yet newer publications, 2016, find no correlation of this antibody as a serum marker or inducing for sjs.

Looks like more studies will have to be done.
