Testing eyes for damage?

Does anyone know what tests you need to check for damage/inflammation of the eyes' lacrimal gland?
They checked my salivary glands for damage through MRI combined with a sialography.
Would MRI or anything else show what damage the SS is causing the eyes' glands?
