Hi All,

For those who want to avoid lip-biopsy and get closer to a diagnosis. If you have come across other non-invasive tests (blood tests are OK), please share the details of the same.

Based on all the research i have found the following tests, which can resolve some of the sjogren suspected cases, primarily who are SSA/SSB negative and are looking for a diagnosis, sjogren or otherwise.

1. Ultrasound of salivary glands : https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4461980/#!po=41.1290
2. Tear film biomarkers test : https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18677232
3. Anti-CCP and Anti-centromere markers : https://www.medpagetoday.com/meetingcoverage/acr/42667
4. Anti HCV blood test : To rule out hepatitis C infection which can cause inflammatory dry eyes and mouth

Thanks.
