Inflammed Eyes for several months

Hi everybody,

I was active on here a few years ago, but lived in a place with no internet and ones I moved back I totally forgot about this forum.

Unfortunately my disease made me think of it again.

I'm hoping to get a few answers for my recent outbreak. I try to keep and as short as possible

1) I went to Germany in September for holidays and did my annually check up with the eye clinic there. They got very concerned about my eye sight dropping from 80% in 2016 to 40% in 2017. The doctor diagnosed a catarac. He then asked me to come back next day to measure my lense and I need surgery immediately
2 ) Next day he said, that he also found a bizarre form of Astigma , which isn't good, but would mean, that he can help me with prescription glasses and that I won't need surgery straight away.
3) Happy as Larry I went to the optometrist and bought 3 sets of good glasses, in the hope of my eye sight will be better, but that didn't happen
4) I managed Germany and it wasn't to bad, but once back in Australia, I really struggled. It took my ages in the morning to be able to see anything, my eyes were sore, I couldn't stand the sun light, I layed in bed as much as I could and only sleeping helped me to get some relief
5) I got myself an appointment with an eye clinic in Australia and my " naive " thinking was... get the catarac surgery done and you'll be fine.
6) Saw the doctor after 2 horrible weeks in pain and discomfort, plus sleepless nights, because I was sleeping during the day to help my eyes
7) The Australian doctor said something completely opposite to the German doctor and told me, that catarac surgery wouldn't have changed a think. He diagnosesd me with Sjogren related eye inflammation and prescibed me
- FML fluorometholone 2 times a day one drop
- cyclosporine compound 2 times a day one drop
- Optive Fusion 6 times a day one drop
- Siguent Hycor 1% Hydrocortison acetate
And Dry Eye Forte 3 tablets a day for 6 weeks

8 ) It help for a short while, but after 2 weeks and a new eye clinic appointment I got stronger drops { unfortunately I forgot the name ) to replace the FML> They had a funny name, that's all I remember
9 ) After another 3 weeks I'm back to the above combination, but instead of getting better I now have yellow puss discharge and I'm stuck to my room most days
10 ) Usually my fatigue and joint pain was the main symptoms, but I haven't had anything major since the eye story started.

I saw the doctor a few days ago again and I got a bit sad and asked what could be next. He said... we are fighting with a children"s water pistol, but we need a water plane to fix it and gave me a referral to my Rheumatologist.

I think the worst is the blurry vision, the urge to shut my eyes and the discomfort and pain, when I'm outside.

I have so many questions, but mainly I like to hear, if you have experienced something similar ? What did you do? Did I go away? Can I go blind ? Would living in a darker country make my life easier ? What can the Rheumatologist do ? What is the water plane ?
