gabapenten for hot flashes

I was just started on low dose gabapentin and did some research on it just to refresh my memory. I found a couple of places that referred to taking the drug for hot flashes with change of life. Anyone ever seen this or taken the med for this reason. I ask because so many of us suffer from bad sweating issues. Irish

Gabapentin will ease hot flashes and will help  with neuropathies if you suffer from that. I am a retired nurse and have Sjogrens
