Thank you for the info on Mighteaflow. Hard sugar-free candies with malate acid also improves saliva production. I get mine from Dr. John's

Just wanted to add that when my hubby was on warfarin or blood thinner the list of foods that he could not eat or must eat in small amounts included the green vegetables and green tea. Green can interfere with the warfarin and I guess I tend to watch that I don't drink too much of this. Green foods tend to have high levels of vitamin K in them which helps increase blood clotting.

Just to let people know---especially if on blood thinners. Irish

Forgot to add this to my original post on this thread.
I don't know how accurate this claim is, but I read in the book, The Paleo Approach, by Sarah Ballantyne, "In healthy animals, green tea extracts are proinflammatory, resulting in greater numbers of regulatory T cells, but also natural killer cells and cytotoxic T cells. Conversely, green and black tea are implicated as good immune modulators in models of autoimmune disease. Green tea was shown to inhibit Th17 cell production and increase anti-inflammatory signals in a rat model of rheumatoid arthritis. A recent study showed that an extract from green tea inhibits naive T cells from maturing into both Th1 and Th17 cells while supporting the development of regulatory T cells."

Hard to tell.
