Compounded plaquenil?

My doc says that I won't have any side effects if I take compounded plaquenil. I understand that this could be true for digestive issues but is it true for hair loss as well?

The drug is the drug - it still has the possible side effects common to that drug.

What compounding could do is provide you with smaller doses per pill and/or inactive ingredients that you are not sensitive to, which could then reduce the likelihood of a reaction.

Does plaquenil cause haie loss?  Like on arms and legs?
