waiting for bloodwork

Had another appointment with my rheumatologist. We are waiting for the results of my bloodwork before we decide what steps to take next. If my C3 and C4 numbers are down, then I guess we will begin to taper the Prednisone. If they are not, then the next treatment she wants to try is Rituximab.

DHEA has helped a lot.

I am very grateful that I found a doctor right away who is treating this condition aggressively. I hope she is right that we can get it into remission. Fingers crossed . . .
