Raynauds - gloves that helped

Hi all,

After trying out many different gloves I've found that these have been a big help when I'm cooking...amazon.com/gp/product/B00ER12NSK/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They're like latex surgery gloves but thicker. I wear them when I'm cooking so I can grab stuff from the fridge/freezer or rinse things in cold water without instantly numb fingertips.

No big revelation I know  but it took me a while to find something that works so I thought I would share.

I have some copper fingerless gloves that I use. The compression helps with the Arthritis in my hands. They seem to stop the muscle spasms that lock my hands in a painful position. They were recommended by a crafter person.

Ignatz, don't those make your hands sweat? That's why I don't use any gloves when working in the kitchen, because they need to be waterproof and that means non-breathable and that results in nasty yucky sweaty hands

@eija - True, there's no ventilation so my hands do get damp after a bit but for me it's worth it. When I'm done I wash the gloves and my hands and reuse the gloves a few more times.

@JoeS - I've tried a few fingerless gloves but unfortunately my fingertips are the most problematic part for me with my Raynauds.
