Does anyone else get this?   When my symptoms got going a couple of years ago I often had this feeling of shakes that seemed to start right inside my chest, this usually happened when I went to bed at night.   They only lasted a few seconds or so at a time.

Recently things have been stressful as my elderly mother was admitted to hospital recently with a fractured hip.   I have been finding when I get home after visits, my body seems to want to shudder in the same way.   I think I can suppress it if I try but it feels a bit like a release of stress.   Does this make sense or strike a chord with anyone?

That's been happening to me for years.  Nearly every night soon after I  go to bed.  If I'm falling asleep it wakes me up.  I've never mentioned it to any doctor though and suspect there isn't anything to do about it.  Additional recent stress has made it worse.

I have done this a lot. Both my hubby and I could never quite figure it out. It was like muscles jerking that would come off and on for a while and then settle down. I didn't do it every night and I don't do it much at all now for some reason. However, with autoimmune stuff the weird things come and go. Irish

Many thanks for the replies.   I'd love to know what causes this, though obviously it's a trivial thing compared to some of the other symptoms.
