Hi Sjoggie-Mates..

In my cyber travels yesterday, I came across an interesting concept. The technique is called: EFT : Emotional Freedom Technique. The idea is that you are combininga physical tapping action with a cognitive thought sequence. It has to do with the meridian points in the upper body or pressure points. Kind of like what they dowith acupuncture, but one does it without needing to go anywhere for a treatment. The thought behind it is that early on we have lodged negative thought processesin our brain/memory which sabotoge our daily lives. This process is supposed to reprogram the brain with positive thoughts and let go of the thoughts that have been holding you back or stuck with whatever issues. Or it can be used to enhance productivity; being positive, etc.

I started researching it more & came across some articles/studies about the use of the technique with post traumatic stress victims it is used with a multitude of subjects (pain control, autism, weight loss, etc.). The studies have found that the tapping balances the activity between the sympathetic & para sympathetic regions of the brain—providing a neutral emotional state. I read a very striking study of how they used this technique with Rwanda victims who had been severely traumatized and seen their parents being slaughtered, etc. They only had one session and were later measured and did not even register on the testing to have PTSD. They also had great results with PTSD vets who had previously
been very difficult to treat. Also, they are using it with fibro patients and chronic pain patients.

I am including some links for you to view: One is a video about what the tapping looks like & how it is done. If you google the subject, you can actually find a lot of info about it.

Here is the video where Nick shows how it is done: http://www.thetappingsolution.com/2017VideoSeries/?utm_campaign=2017-TWS-Prelaunch&utm_medium=email&utm_source=email-automated&utm_content=Dr-Wayne-Dyer-Video&utm_term=affiliates&inf_contact_key=db0fc84e4ef17e08cbdca088c421d362bea46f485c7ba3ecbfe9527610e9f6ca

Maybe I'm crazy but I am willing to try anything to get rid of my pain . Since this is free and done in the privacy of one's own space, I'm in. I just won't do it in front of my husband for his comic relief of seeing me look like a monkey. But hey..free is free & if it works that could be great. I have nothing to lose by trying.

Check it out & see what you think.
Take Care.
