Anyone else have a negative biopsy? But shows inflammation?

I am sero negative and my biopsy came back showing inflammation and mild diffuse lymphocyte infiltration but not characteristic of sjogrens!   To be diagnosed you have to have 50 or more lymphoctes in a small area and I did not!  Just wondering who else had had something similar?   I believe I am in the early stages.    I figured that this would be an obvious positive based on my horrible dry mouth! So tired of not having any answers once again!  I am always in the grey zone

My lip biopsy was negative, period. That led folks at Hopkins to say that I had Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease instead of SjS. They said that was a better disease to have because it might subside over time.

Other docs say I have Sjs, but even Hopkins said it didn't matter because Plaquenil was the treatment for both. Unfortunately I can't tolerate Plaquenil so can't take it/

My mouth has become increasingly dry and I now take meds for it. I would refuse another lip biopsy because mine was horribly painful and took months to heal.

Sjobdry.  You and me are similar . I have spoke to you before .  You also CVID. Right?    I am also low IGG and IGA.   But passed the vaccine challenge so I don't have CVID yet they say.  I am in the grey zone for a few autoimmune diseases.  They say it  just hasn't fully declared itself yet.  ao your biopsy didn't show any inflammation or lymphocytes at all??  I wonder why it's dry then?
