How's does Pilocarpine and salivary glands work.

I'm going to try just the evoxac 3 times a day and maybe(if needed) a salagen before lunch. I took an evoxac before bed last night and slept 6hours straight(one of my longest recently) did wake up with a bit of a sore throats but nothing major. Will see how today goes.
I won't be taking one of both at the same time.

I hope it works better than pilocarpine too.

I meant to say that only one of these drugs should be taken on a regular basis. Guess I am losing my ability to get my point across. There are several ways to look at this situation. Happy Thanksgiving. Irish

Sorry Irish, my misunderstanding, Ive weened off the Salagen now and am on Evoxac only at the moment. I did take them not at the same time but on the same day for a few days. Can this be dangerous? Or is it just like doubling up? Excuse my ignorance.

We will get this straight yet.lol One should either take the pilocarpine daily or the exovac daily. Do not take both these drugs together, at the same time or on the same day. They are alike in the way they act and it is dangerous to double up as the side effects will be much worse and could potentially cause adverse health problems.

Example: There are many types of antibiotics.  Many of these are the same or similar drugs.
When we take an antibiotic like Tetracycline and Doxycycline (similar to Tetracycline) at the same time as they are pretty much the same. Different name but same family pretty much and would double up on the antibiotic action resulting in bad side effects. Just a sad example but hope you get the drift. Good luck. Irish
