Evoxac- Compounding Pharmacy

Hi all,

I am finding I can't take more than one 30mg evoxac a day or if I do I really only need another half dose for 45 mg total (since Evoxac comes in a capsule a half dose is not an option).

Good news, I called our compounding pharmacy and asked if they might be able to reformulate the capsules into smaller doses and they are willing to try as long as my rheumatologist agrees (I'm pretty sure he will). They suggested three doses of 15 mg each so I can spread out the effect (both good and bad ones). I believe that would be ideal because I get a big burst of saliva (and sweat) for a while then it tapers off and might work much better in smaller doses.

Thought I'd share this in case others of you have issues with medication dosages.
