parotids echography

ciao everybody
this morning i made an echography( not sure how u call this exam) of tiroid parotids and sub manibular glands. the guy who did that is the same who made the exam last year and the year before. i was very worried but when he finished and compared the old exams  with this one, he said that there was no difference , the tissue in parotids is not damaged, its normal like the one he  can see in a normal person, so i went home very happy, even if im surely drier than last year. then  i read what he wrote and he mentiuons many little reactive linphonodes in parotids, in  the jaw and before ears.... so now im desperate... those little reactive lymphonodes mean that they are reactive to something, that something is inflamation? myself? i sent the exam to my rheumy, hope shes not already eating chocolate easter eggs and she will answer me asap.

I would assume that he is just relating that the lymph nodes are reacting to the inflammatory processes that occur in Sjogrens. Our lymph nodes swell and fill with white blood cells with the inflammatory reactions related to the Sjogrens. I doubt that there is anything to worry about. However, I am not a doctor so make sure that you talk to your doctor. Good luck. Irish

yes probably, strange is that i dont have any inflammatory marks in blood exams. anyway im losing time and money. whatever is the result i cant do anything. the only thing i should do if i could ,is stop attacking my glands!
