Plasmatears

I am getting ready to start a new therapy for dry eyes called Plasmatears.  Has anyone else been given this treatment?  I have had several other therapies with no improvement and hope this works.

Is blood plasma used to make these tears?

If so, an acquaintance's nurse sister was using them with success last I heard.

I can check how she is going now.

Yes, they are made with my own blood.  New treatment for me and I cannot find out much about it.  Thanks for your reply.
