I had an 8 hr open house on Saturday. I cleaned the patio from Monday through Thursday with Jans help some of the weeding I did, I used a beet truck sceaper and a broom over the bricks and stones. I sat as much as I could when healthier it took 2 hours. The task this week took 2 days. A month earlier I trimmed somr bushes and trees. It tok 3 weeks to cut them up as yard waste.

Jan worked on her kitchen for a day we spent a day on the dining room and a day on the living room. A half day on the bath room. The house and yard looked so nice. I took half a day to put out tables, coolers and power.

our Potluck BBQ was a hit! People enjoy ed visiting with each other.  Kids practiced soccer in the yard. The dogs loved being outside wjthout a leash. Hamburgers,  hot dogs, brats, and steaks on the grill. Cocktail shrimp on ice. Chicken Alfredo in one crock pot, and chicken stew in the other. Lettuce,  dressing, cheese, crackers, cake, fruit plus a coolwhip pineapple topping. Everyone was well fed.

as you can see I used a few spoons. Sunday I drank a lot of water and rested to recover some spoons. It may take a while to feel normal but so far no flair (fingers crossed).

Hi  :)

Glad there's been no flare. Sit back and amass spoons! You deserve to after a day like that!

Take care - Scottie  :)

Sounds like you did a good job of pacing yourself to prepare for the event and relaxing afterwards. Sending some spoons your way.

I love the thought of sending spoons someone's way.  Could you imagine if it really helped?  We would all be sending spoons in the mail to each other.

Feels good when we reach the end of an event realizing that we didn't quite use up all of our spoons.  We may have misplaced them but we know they are nearby somewhere.

Good job Joe.  Sounds like a fun day!

Sounds like a great day was worth all the effort (and using many spoons).

Relax now and enjoy the memories you created Joe.
