I have been taking Humira injections for my rheumatoid arthritis. And I was diagnosed with sojogrens my Rhumetologist put me on plaquenil, which I couldn't tolerate. So he told me I would be okay just taking the Humira. The problem is, I'm still in a lot of pain, have dry eyes etc. and have many flares.
I'm wondering if the Humira isn't enough. Any suggestions?

Hi mcmwit, sorry you are still in pain! I was on Humira in combo with methotrexate which seems to be the gold standard for RA. It was the first time I was completely pain free. Is it your ra joint pain that is not under control? If not I am surprised your rheumatologist does not have you on mtx or arava with the Humira since the combos usually work better.
Did your rheumy prescribe you cevimeline or evoxac for dry mouth. Are you using eye drops like restasis or otc like systane eye drops?
I'm sure more members will chime in with more help so hang in there!
And welcome!
