Hi All

I have severe reaction to lights.  the only way I can describe it is, when you lie in the sun (back in the days when I could) and you can feel the Suns rays hitting your body, that's the feeling I get at first.

Then I become disorientated and confused, everything becomes distorted, i start to lose feeling down one side of me, and have hemaplegia, my face drops on one side and I cannot control my mouth to speak (I basically look like a stroke victim) then if not removed my head starts to swell on one side.... Taking very large quantities of aspirin seam to slow the process, but I now just refuse to go anywhere with lights.
I also lose my memory....I generally lose it for up to 3/4 weeks after an attack and cannot remember a couple of days before.
Is that anything similar to what you have?
My neurologist & rheumy are always asking me if I ve ever head if someone else having something similar and I never have...and neither have they.
Anyone out there with anything similar?

I m now being tested on with calcium channel blockers which make me feel awful, and no improvement yet...
