Why, should they be combined?

I take the generic version of Salagen, and tried digestive enzymes against constipation, but it didn't seem to help me much....

The salogen stimulates the production of saliva. The digestive enzymes replace the enzymes that are needed to break down the food in digestion. It has been my understanding that these enzymes are usually the ones produced by the pancreas and possibly the liver. Might want to do a search on this. Irish
