Feet sweating

I have excessively sweaty feet too, only since the Sjogren's.  I find regular shoes work better for me with cotton socks, rather than slippers.  I may ask them when I go back to work next week (have been out since the end of December) if it would be okay to just work in my socks (I work in a small branch office).   I'm sure they'll love that!  It is weird that our feet sweat more and our skin, eyes, and mouth is dry!

Hi Buffy,

Well maybe not so weird....... Maybe the body expects to ooze a certain quantity of moisture from our bodies, if not in the mouth and eyes, the moisture pops up in a different place?

I admit, the theory sounds a bit wacky  :-X  ;D

Hi Buffy

Thanks for replying. It's nice to know that I am not the only person going through this.

The weird thing is that I am not dry anywhere. In fact mouth is always watery and tears are plenty. Sometimes they come out when I yawn.

Maybe I am at the wrong end of this disease.

Not sure if this was suggested in any of the replies, but I used to have the same problem, but not nearly as bad.  No odor, just a lot of sweat.  It just seemed to away on its own, especially with this cold weather.  But anyhow, when it was happening, my podiatrist suggested using a spray deodorant on my feet.  I never did as I said, the problem seemed to stop on it's own, thank goodness.  I hope it doesn't come back now that spring is right around the corner!   My toes get very wrinkled too, and the tops of my feet appear very dry.

I can't comment on the feet sweating, but I just wanted to tell you that, as a child, my eyes used to water a lot - particularly when yawning. I had never heard of it happening to anyone else until now!

I'm 58 now and diagnosed around 10 years, and for the past 20 or so years, my eyes have been dry. My theory is that I used up all my tears as a child, which sounds a bit whacky, but makes sense to me.

Hope you get a solution soon.
