instead of resolution

Last year I read about the concept of replacing "resolutions" with a one-word theme and thought I would pass the idea on. For example, instead of resolving to lose weight, you could choose "healthy" as your theme. You would then use your theme to guide your decisions and choices throughout the year. Every year the goal is to pick a new word: strength, faith, hope, optimism, etc... Choose whatever theme would help you the most.
