Brachioradial Pruritus

Has anyone heard of this before?  I have MCTD (interstitial lung disease, Raynauds, and Sjogrens).  I am currently taking Imuran and Plaquenil.  I've been on the Plaquenil for 2 years. During the last year I have had extreme itching. I have been to the dermatologist many times. I have creams, foams, ointments and lotions - all  prescriptions.  I have gone through allergy testing, etc.

I have super sensitive to the sun. Even have issues when driving when it is sunny. I get red itchy burning welts.  Lately the inside of my left forearm I have had intense itching. The only thing that helps is applying something frozen like a bag of peas.  Yesterday I searched for "itching on left forearm" and I came up with this brachioradial Pruritus that seems to be what I am experiencing.

Has anyone heard of this or experienced it yourself?  I see the rheumy on Monday for my check-up.

I think I recall a few sjoggies have posted about increased sun sensitivity associated with plaquenil.

Definitely mention it to rheumy, and if you have pictures to show rheumy, even better. I've been taking pics myself of weird stuff with my skin, as invariably by the time I get to doc it's cleared up.

I won't have to worry about pictures as my current outbreak will still be visible on Monday.
