Nobody thinks you are at all silly! We all have our four-legged furry kids and know the joy and sorrow they give us.

The comment about emotional support: if your doctor would be willing to write you a prescription for a dog, the vet expenses for one of them would be tax deductible as a medical expense.

Wonderful news!  So glad he is OK. 

I have a dog and a cat.  My cat thinks she is queen of everything and mostly ignores us unless she wants something, LOL.  But my pup is the delight in our lives.  He's kind of goofy and silly but also very smart and stubborn.  Sometimes I swear when I call him inside or give a command, he stops, thinks about it, says 'no', spins around and takes off in the opposite direction.    I can't help but laugh.
