Thanks Irish, my big concern is my two furbabies. Im not going anywhere without them, so while I am still in decent shape I will look into alternatives in living and get my home in order to sell sometime in the near future. I just hate giving up a nice big house in a peaceful setting. But if I have to move then I have too, and I am preparing for it, or will be. My therapist is going to earn her pay this week lol

Most Continuing Care Retirement Communities (independent living all the way to nursing home care in one large facility, with lots of classes and pools, and food plans, etc) accept two animals per person.

Are you hanging in there, Tivia?

Im hanging in there Sharon. I have a lot of appointments this month 4 doctors  :o 2 are reg 3 month exams the others are caused by  something that came up over the last few weeks. But I am trying to get off my bum and pack stuff, paint etc. Maybe I will have a garage sale at the end of the month. So far I havent seen anything I want to buy, and there is a problem on if my home will even sell. So I am trying to not get too worried over that.

Oh and Elaine, I dont think they would take me in a retirement community yet, I have a few years to go till that will happen  ;D But I would do it in a heartbeat if only for the socialness..is that a word?? of living in a community of people

Consider coming out to visit in Pueblo. It is a most friendly place and I have a whole basement you can sleep in. Furbabies and all.
