I'm turning my writings into a book - largely based on the unbelievable outpouring of support and comments from everyone on my blog.  Here's a poll to help me choose a cover!

I voted!  Love the apple inside the orange.  Describes how I feel most days.

I felt like it is a good one for the "invisible disease" issues! :)

Thanks for voting!

My comments are based on what I look for when deciding what to check out from the library. Never make it hard to read, so white or pink on dark backgrounds are very bad.

I really like the minimalist photo in the 3rd one. The solitude, isolation..from family, friends, medical.
Feeling small...the photo says a great deal to me about the journey and seriousness, depth.
But, I do not like the Pink or font. Contradictory is effect.

Is purple the color for Sjogrens...someone know? As opposed to Pink/ Cancer Awareness

So I would go with Number 2.

The orange/apple are both healthy, wholesome foods...there is nothing healthy about this disease process..."attack" ...Guess showing a fruit beautiful on the outside...peeled back and spoiled inside or something would be somewhat inline...too complicated.

Promoting the Cause: Any chance you would consider using the term "Sjogrens" on the bookfront?

Great blog..a giggle here, a nod of "yes, been there", sigh of exasperation, and the voice of the children and spouse included.

I've gone back and forth about using the word "Sjogren's" on the book cover - I'm totally aware of the need to increase awareness but I also speak so much about things that I think are common to all autoimmune sufferers, and for that matter probably anyone suffering with invisible chronic illness.

There's a chapter about it in the book but the rest of the book is more general as I think we all go through so many of the same emotions.

Maybe I'll put it in the info on the back cover! :)
