Hi  :)

In three days time I am heading for the USA to spend the festive season with my son, DiL and 3 year old grandson. I am dreading the flights but really looking forward to seeing them. They live in MO.

I am not taking my lap top with me. May be able to use my son's sometime but I suspect my online time will be somewhat restricted.

Wishing everyone season's greetings and I'll be back properly in 2014. I think when I get home I will sleep for a week but a US Christmas will be an experience!!

Welcome, Scottie! Have a wonderful, wonderful visit. And you do have to leave the grandkid behind. Sorry.

If I were anywhere near Missouri, I'd go visit.

The best of Christmas will be being with your family.

I always try to remember that day to day, life is always a mixture of up and down....and some plain middle parts.

Even on vacation in the best of places, life is still life.

Relax and enjoy it.  It makes me smile thinking of you with your family in the middle of our enormous country!

I grew up in Kansas, right next door.  But in this country, next door is a long way away sometime!

Such a wonderful holiday for all of you.

Thanks everyone! Just about to shut the laptop down and hide it for when we are away. (We have been burgled before when we were away at Christmas)

Bags packed, taxi for airport booked. Just need to have a shower and change my clothes and I will be all set!
