Merry Christmas Everyone! I hope you and your families had a safe, healthy, happy, filled Christmas.

I am posting this late I know, but the sentiment is the same. Just been a very busy, but nice day.

We are all here one more Christmas, and that is a special gift. Being here with a wonderful family of friends who share in our daily lives filled with challenges, that only we can fully know, and understand.

We each give gifts  to one another with our sharing of thoughts whatever they may be. We share information when we can, and laugh and cry together. We truly give each other gifts of ourselves.

A special thanks and prayer for everyone, and the administration over the board that we all can come to.

I hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas and a delightful Holiday Season!

I'm a bit late, since we were without power from Monday morning at 7:30 until yesterday afternoon at 4:30, so we've had an old fashioned "unplugged" Christmas.!

I missed the twinkling tree lights, but candles and lanterns are a good substitute; I thoroughly enjoyed the absence of electronic hum that permeates our lives without our even being aware of it. We have wood heat, and I keep water stockpiled; cooking on a BBQ on a covered veranda isn't much of a hardship, and the joy of having your grand daughters camp out Christmas Eve is immeasurable! (And yes! Santa found the temporary lodgings!) The crystal covered trees that caused the power outage are still beautiful, if somewhat inconvenient and dangerous, and the valiant crews who spent their Christmas returning power to other's families while missing Christmas with their own, deserve medals!
