SS without dryness?

After months of chronic fatigue, I tested positive for SSA and SSB.  Other than the fatigue and brain fog, I have no dry eyes, joint pain, etc, associated with classic SS.   Rhemetologist said I don't have it, but can't explain the other symptoms.  Asking everyone out there:  is it possible to have SS without the dry eyes, etc?

Yes, it sure is.

Keep us posted.

I tested positive for ss with lip biopsy et al, and though I drink  lot of water because I'm very thirsty, I wouldn't say that dryness is my major complaint. I have extreme fatigue and arthritis, but no dry eyes. I assume that the symptoms will come though plaquenil might stave them off.

Diagnosed two years ago based on high SSA, ANA and symptoms of fatigue and joint pain. Only my nose is dry, nothing else. I'm not convinced that SS is what I have, but whatever it is, it responds well to Plaquenil.

I did ask my doctor if she was 100% positive it was Sjogren's and she said no - did I want a biopsy? I said no, because if it came back negative she wouldn't change my treatment. She said it could turn into lupus or something else, that these conditions have a tendency to morph.

If I had no idea what was wrong with me I would want to keep looking for a definitive diagnosis, but I already know it's some sort of systemic autoimmunity, and I know I'm getting the right treatment. Whether it's Sjogren's or lupus or something else may become clear over time; I hope it never does, because that will mean I'm doing well.
