I just started on Celexa and due to going back to work I guess, I am having horrible flare ups to the point of losing sleep and feeling nauseated. I'm on Plaquenil and before I started back to work that was working just fine. If I had a day that I was not so well, then usually Advil or a Medrol dose pack would help. But now the pharmacy says I cannot take Advil or a dose pack. I've sent a message to my Rheumy for tomorrow. I hope there are other things to take. I have not slept hardly at all the last two nights.

Sometimes the SSRI meds like Celexa can cause insomnia and nausea---takes time to adjust for some people---just a thought. Hope you feel better soon!

Ask your dr if you can take melatonin.  I get source naturals melatonin spray for under the tongue.  I am amazed at how well it works.

I took Celexa with no problems except that at a 40 mg dose it dried my eyes out more than they already are.  It made them red including the whites of my eyes and they burned really bad.  I had to quit taking it because a smaller dose just wasn't enough.  I had the same reaction as you are to Paxil.  My doctor says that it may have been changing things was to fast for my brain.  You might want to try some of the other SSRI.
