Methotrexate expectations

Hey gang. Seems like lots of experience on this forum. The question I have is about methotrexate and twitching. I have been on plaquenil little over 4 months. Been on cymbalta 7 months. Cymbalta has really helped with muscle pain. I still have the joint pain, fatigue and twitching.

Starting the methotrexate, should I see relieve in joint pain, fatigue and twitching. I understand everyone is different, just wondering what others have experienced.

I never had twitching, but I have had significant relief from fatigue, joint pain, and many other symptoms since going on Methotrexate.

It did take me a couple of months to get used to it.

If you search the forums for the word "Methotrexate" or "Mtx" you will find a ton of great tips and also other peoples' experiences.

For some people it is not a good choice - makes them feel awful - but for many of us it is a very useful treatment.
