I am also always cold!  I never knew why until the last time I went to see my doctor for my annual physical.  The nurse took my blood pressure, pulse and temperature.  My BP was 85/60, pulse 90, temp 97 degrees!!  The nurse said, "I bet you're cold all the time," and I said yes.  I'd always known my BP was pretty low, but I never knew my temperature was almost two degrees below normal!   :o

I have noticed, though, that when I get hungry I get cold --- the kind of cold you can't get warm from without a hot shower.  But as soon as I eat, I get comfortable again.

Isn't life strange?  Isn't Sjogren's stranger?!?

litliwlowa,
we worked up thyroid with the recent bloodwork, still waiting on the doc's office to call w results........life certainly isnt dull you are right!

long time dry

I have a low body temperature as well and am usually cold, but do have a hard time cooling off if I get too hot.  My normal temperature is between 97 and 98.  Mine is likely due to Sjogren's because I am already on synthroid and have been stable for years.

Same here. I am cold most of the time and my body temperature runs @ approx. 97 degrees. I also have low blood pressure that is not related to thyroid because my numbers are good.

I too have trouble cooling down after getting overheated.

It doesn't surprise me that we all have these symptoms in common. The good thing about this is that at least now I know why (our Sjogren's adventure)!

Thyroid "numbers" are pretty much irrelevant. The "normal range" is huge, and being within it does not mean that you are at optimal levels for you. If your body temp is that low, it is pretty clear that you are not where YOU should be.

Too bad we can't explain that to someone with an M.D.
