Lip Biopsy Results and Eye Test

Spoke to Dr. Wu from UCSF about my lip biopsy results last night.  I was impressed that she called me back even though she was on vacation.  She didn't have access to my records or the full biopsy report but she said from the verbal report my biopsy appears "normal".   She will be sending me more info once she returns.  I'm happy it is negative but frustrated that I'm still in limbo not knowing what is causing my dry mouth.  Sigh

Friday I go to the Cornea Specialist to be evaluation for dry eyes.  I think they will be doing a Shrimer, tear break and some type of dye test for microscopic irritation. 

My labs are negative for ANA and Ro/La but RA and ESR are slightly elevated.  No tests are confirming Sjogrens, but my dry mouth is confirmed with the 5 minute spit test showing very dry indeed.   A few years ago I went to my Derm Doc for dry itchy skin and now wonder if all this is related.  I guess once I get the eye results I'll go see a Rheumy and get their input.   Then what I don't know but something is wrong and I'd like answers.
