The last month just breezed by, and here it is a brand new month - March.  Along with this new month comes some new birthdays and anniversaries.

We'd like to celebrate the occasion with you - so, if you want, tell us the date of your celebration.

Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary to our members who celebrate the occasion in March.

I'm always glad to have a celebration that involves cake and/or presents!

I sure could go for a piece of cake right now.     Here we are, almost half way through the month and nobody has a celebration to celebrate??

I know there have been a few that slipped by (according to my chart from the past few years), but . . . I don't mention them unless THEY mention them.   

Guess I'll have to resort to trying out this new recipe for a one-cup coffee mug cake and have my own little celebration . . . let's see . . . . the sun in shining . . yep, I'll celebrate that!

March 28th getting my marriage blessed in the church, 13 years ago we ran away to Vegas

Really looking forward to it. We bought new rings too. People have commented that new rings are weird since we have been married so long but we bought cheap bands originally & wanted new ones so I don't care--- we are happy & that is all that matters!

March 24 is our 6 year wedding anniversary.  It has been a very lonely 6 years being married to a man who is totally disinterested in me in every way.  My wish is that my health recovers or stabilizes so that THIS is the year that I can divorce him.  I am such a happy, caring, fun person and wish to spend my life with someone who actually likes me!  One of these days.....

Ark mom - here is where I would normally wish someone a Happy Anniversary on the anniversary of their wedding day, but, in this case - I don't know what to say.  I feel bad for you to be in a lonely marriage.     I'm sorry. 

I would not normally suggest to someone to get out of a marriage - but, in some cases, that is the best solution.  If it is an unhappy union and causes emotional disconnection, which can translate into physical conditions from being unhappy and sad - I would say, time to cut the strings and move on to something else.  Even being single again would be better than being in a loveless, uncaring marital union.

So, on this day that marks the anniversary of your marriage - Ark mom I wish you many blessings this year and the courage and strength to do what you need to do for your happiness and well being.

I would like to note that it's "Springs" birthady on 3/21.  This fact has passed michigan and many other states I know of. I am tired of the furnace blazing away and $200+ fuel bills.  I put on long johns yesterday for the first time in awhile. 

So, please SPRING, will you make your move and sneak around the corner of some of the northern parts of our country, or any country?  I'm waiting.  Lucy

Thanks Bucky! It was so lovely! We had a few surprise guests show up and we had a lovely dinner. Then we returned to church for Holy Thursday Mass.

I am exhausted now so I'll need to rest before making Easter dinner for 22 people!
