There is a very good Tinnitus Support Message Board on the Internet.  I'm not completely sure that I can post a link to it here, so I suggest either sending me a PM for a direct link or just search for that name.  You can get very good information on it about what "cures" are actually effective and what are considered snake oil.  Also, lots of tips about dealing with tinnitus-related sleep issues and lists of ototoxic drugs (those that damage your ear and/or lead to tinnitus).
