WASTED?????? not on your life! you have done so much, helped so many, and eased the way for so many more I think you've probably done as much nursing since you retired as you did before!

You may be out of the work force, but you are most definitely a force with which to be reckoned!

I wholeheartedly agree with Linda - you have NOT wasted your time here . . . I have learned a lot from you and appreciate all you offer to us here on this forum.  One of our valued nurses that we have the pleasure of learning from.

Did you do anything special to celebrate the day?

Thanks for the well wishes everyone!!!

:-X :-XDon't tell anyone, but I think that I had 2 dishes of ice cream on my birthday. 8) 8)

This winter is very weird and I am craving ice cream big time. I gained 5 pounds the days hubby had his IV antibiotics and IVIG and appts. We were gone13 days in a row and ate out too much!!! IRish

While it is still January . . . I wanted to mention two beloved members of ours who were born in January.

Happy Birthday last Sunday to Care - our co-founder of this site.  And, today, Happy Birthday to Newhorizons, aka Joy, a member I met in person in 2011.

I think of both you ladies quite frequently and miss your contributions you made to our forum.

Both these ladies liked cake . . . I wish I had some to help celebrate their birthdays, but I don't.  However, I did eat a chocolate chip cookie to honor both ladies.

Happy Birthday Care & Newhorizons . . . . I miss you both!   :'(

Thank you Bucky,, Sorry I have not been in here in a while. We had a combined celebration, then each our own celebration. It was nice.
