Brownie recipe to make you forget everything else:

2 sticks of butter, melted.
2 cups of sugar
1 cup flour
4 heaping tablespoons cocoa powder (in my case, it turns into 8 Tablespoons. I haven't heard any complaints!)

Put butter, sugar, flour, cocoa powder in 9X17 inch pan. Put depression in middle, add 4 eggs. Mix well. Add nuts if you want. Bake at 325 degrees or so (F) for about 45 minutes until a toothpick comes out reasonably clean.

(Sorry, Metric readers. The U.S. was too stubborn to go metric when we should have. )

I have to admit that I do sometimes forget about my sjogrens. This is because my weakness from my myasthenia gravis will be bad and I have to take care of those issues first. Also, when I have infections caused by my low t-cells then I have to deal with that.

Actually, there is always something that will nag you with the autoimmune issues. Some days the issues aren't so bad and other days or weeks they take over your life. The good thing is that you still have to deal with the other mundane everyday things in life so we have other things to think about no matter what.

Also, if you have other family members with health issues they can come before your own health at times. I do think that the amount of time we spend obscessing or thinking about our condition is sometimes under our control. It does help to give all this stuff up to a "higher power" so that your life is not totally controlled by illness. We all do the best we can and we can all do better at some times. Good luck to all.
