We just got back from dinner at a local mexican restaurant and my joints are killing me! Call me crazy, but I am wondering if this tyoe of food triggers joint pain? Has anyone noticed a certin type of food that triggers joint pain?

You can run an experiment. There is Mexican food without dairy in it; meats with mole sauce, refritos and rice, fresh flour tortillas, tostadas without cheese, etc.

I don't know where you are, but if winter if blow in again, maybe weather change is the problem.

MSG can also trigger flares in me, it's in a lot of restaurant foods, seasoning salts, and prepackaged foods.  Read labels

Consider the nightshades. Causes sig joint pain especially my knees. I avoid tomatoes, potatoes( sweet potatoes are fine), peppers , all except black pepper, artichokes, cant think of the rest, but you can google. If you are someone who does not tolerate nightshades, you should notice a difference soon, and then true changes within 2 wks. I cheat maybe once a month. Its very doable

Yep... NIGHTSHADES! and possibly the gluten.

Ask for corn tortillas next time.

I actually have really good luck with Mexican food.  I always get corn products, no flour/gluten!  And yes, look into nightshades.  I figured out that when I eat potatoes, I get excruciating leg and hip pain.
