Last four days felt like someone had tied weight to my legs and shoulders, or Im like I am trying to wade through water. I had to stop and take a rest. It comes and goes a few times a day. Is it sjogrens? Can it come and go that quick? It surely cannot be the Plaquenil, I have only been taking it for six days, so thats too soon to be having side effects I would have thought. It's horrible.  On top of that I feel like someone has punched me in the left eye as it throbs, and my hubby and kids are annoyed because they say I keep repeating myself and they feel nagged.  Im not usually a nagger. I hate the fact they feel im doing that to them.

Yes that can happen.  There are days when the short walk from my car to my office makes me feel I have just run a marathon and my arms feel like they are going to fall off my desk as they are too heavy.  It does come and go and I have been on Plaquenil for years and that is one of the new symptoms.  However everyone reacts differently to meds.  The family thing is very common amongst us and you can find it in other threads.  There ism a thread which comes from a magazine about it.  There was also a thread just now with flashcards on SJS so that may help.

I got the "lead weight" feeling way before Dx of SJS and before starting Plaquenil. It is something that comes and goes. Eventually, Fibro was added, although if you look up Fibro I do not match the classic tender points, which I have read is passe' for dx . I do take Cymbalta for Fibro? pain ...put I still have lost strength in my right arm. And if I drive a longer distance my right arm feels weighted and muscle fatigued. I probably should do PT..as I can see the muscle waste in my upper arms, which used to be strong.

These are the flashcards I posted

YES, isn't Sjogren's wonderful?!  :(    Someone else that I know with it describes this as "walking through molasses."   I hate it as my dog walks -- long distance -- are gone.  I still walk them but can do about a mile before my hips & knees are killing me and I get light headed the fatigue sweeps over me.  Also, QuietDynamics, those flash cards are GREAT!
