My faithful laptop has passed  :'(
Gone are my photos, bookmark...yes even my Dr. Diary/ chart.
I''ll need to find a tech student, see if at least the photos can be retrieved.

Alex took me shopping...
After about the 5th option...my vision blurred....I was going into "the Oh ZONE!,"
As in ...
Oh  no another  one!
Oh  no ...how many gb?
Oh no ...how much $$$$...ouch!
Oh  no another sales person ripe from the womb!....I  need fresh air...puleezzzze

I want to eat my apples, drink my java , jelly bean?...is it sugarfree?... tablets...not a pill, androids under the Apache license...did Google need permission from the Apache  Nation to use their name?

Can I get my laptop find?  Pretty please,   organic whipped cream with pinch of xylitol  on top? Hold that cherry!

Left with Samsung 10.1...(no restocking fee and I have until Jan 24th to return)

Well here is what we got.  Liked the split sscreen , photos editing, note /editing ability with stylus.

Can,'t open my email,  trulia site is totally wonky...I look for possible homes/areas while watching the news, cannot insertf a photo on this forum?

Still considering going back for  Asus touchscreen....hate the  auto suggestions, more like auto insistence, when I write, I play with words, compound them, stretche them....not nearly as bad as James Joyce (my maiden name)...Love e.e. cummings.

I think we have Neanderthal genes: red hair or highlights, freckles and daughter blue, grey, green eyes

So sorry about losing all your 'stuff'...you might check into Carbonite back up service for your new laptop.. I use it and am very happy to have this assurance that I can place all my personal computer info into any new computer, or just recover from a crash.  My computer has acting up for about a year and a half now (starts makes loud pitched whirring/whining sound when I have too much open and I then shut it down FAST) but I didn't need to replace it over worry of losing everything.  When it goes I'll get a new one at the local Staples or order on online with 2 day free delivery from Amazon (Super Saver or Prime price free shipping) and let Carbonite fire it up with my personal stuff! :)

I meant to back-up, and transfer to the desktop. Had beautiful fashion photos of daughter  and some I edited fro m music festivals, old statue and mosuselum doors with relief work., some had stained glass windows.

Old laptop now has a black  screen. Started acting weird after I used hospital  network.  Was able to do  a reboot, going through a backdoor. Probably give it  a go again. But, for me is a lot slower to manipulate information.

This Samsung proudut has a 2 year dropbox.

I had bookmarks of business resources for research ,SJS , and  festivals, etc.

Thinking the laptop was better for what I do...this has voice and writing recognition., takes photos...so I will play.
And limited tabs can  be open, you get a warning...

What is a dropbox---is it for backing up files?

I don't believe I mentioned this, but the beauty of Carbonite service is that I have to do nothing and my computer is fully backed up at least several times a day automatically! :D

I lost all my daughter's dancing photographs when a computer died once. I never did retrieve them and I didn't have many other photos of her.

Since then I have backed photos up on discs, on memory sticks and also sent some to 'the cloud'.

Hope you get your pics back.

Take care - Scottie  :)
