I've got till Monday to wait for my test results and trying not to panic about anything. My symptoms started (I think) with stinging eyes when I washed my face, the first time I remember that happening was about 2 months ago. I then felt something in my eye 2 weeks ago, tried to get it out and then realised that eye was incredably sore so went to the eye hospital where after my 3rd trip and 3 different diagnosis I was told a had very dry eyes. Over that 2 weeks my ability to cry tears has slowed down to very little, I am waking up in the night feeling like I have peanut butter in my mouth and my nasal passages are very dry. Does this sound like Sjogrens to you? I know I've already asked you all so many questions and im really very greatful for your help.

I understand the asking lots of questions, I think I flooded the forums when I was first dx'd. You need to have a ophthalmologist test you for dry eyes, and yes it could be sjogrens or it could be anything. I hope its not , but if it is I think you will need a support system to cope. Please try not to obsess over it at this point, I know its hard and I even still do it. But in the end stress and worry can exacerbate symptoms and make it worse.

Someone once told me in the start when I was very distraught on here...that we are seeing the worst case scenarios. That not everyone will get that bad, no one knows, there isnt a test that can determine what direction it will take. I understand your fear, I live with it also, you just have to not let it destroy you. Do you have family that are helping you get through this? Please dont be scared at this point, you will make yourself sick.

Don't worry about posting a bunch.  When I get panicky and down, I have/had a cousin I phone that always helps me. She had went through a lot of medical stuff (different than mine) and totally understood all the emotional issues. Both of use have gotten very educated on medical terminology and procedures. ;)

BTW: I am solo with no immedicate family. My friends work and those that do not are elderly and have their own bad medical issues. I am also going through chemo treatments now.
