Hi Everyone,
l had my mouth biopsied yesterday on my roof palette and l just got the news that it is NHL Maltoma. So l have an appointment at the end of the week to discuss treatment.  l also have it in my lacrimal gland and apparently the pet scan only showed the maltoma in the lacrimal gland and nothing showed up on the roof palette.  I am feeling not good about this and not sure what treatment l will have to go through. I already had chemotherapy back in 2003 and dread having it again.  The weird thing is that l feel fine, l am not sick just stressed  out thinking what is ahead of me. :(

Annie, I am sorry to hear this, but I am so glad that you had this checked out cause it will make a difference in treatment I would think.

I will be thinking of you and sending up some prayers that whatever is done will work and that you won't get too down during the treatment. Keep us posted on how things are going. You are a walking advertisement on the proactive checkups needed with mouth lesions. Good luck. Irish

Thank you Irish.
One thing for sure is us Sjogrens sufferers need to get things checked out asap. My ct and pet scans did not show  anything in my roof palette only my biopsy showed NHL so hopefully its very indolent and l only need minimal treatment. I can only pray that my treatment will work and get me into remission.

Hugs, Annie

Cheryl

Annie,
I'm sorry that your nhl has returned.  You will be in my prayers as you are treated for this.  I hope your treatment is successful and you have a permanent remission.

Hi annie

so sorry to hear your latest dx. The only comfort I can offer is that NHL is meant to be more treatable than some and also that chemo treatments are improving on a yyearly basis.

Thooughts and positive vibes in your direction. Keep us posted.

Take care - Scottie  :)

Hi Annie:

So very sorry to hear of this diagnosis, but it is good that your diligence was able to catch this so you can get into treatment quickly.  There are a number of us who are going thru NHL treatment right now, so be sure to let us know how you are holding up and if you need to bounce anything off someone, I would be happy to provide whatever input I can.

Hugs,
Daisy

Annie,

I'm also sorry to hear of your diagnosis, but your proactive attitude shows how we must check out even the smallest things as soon as possible.

I'll keep you in my thoughts for some peace and calm for you in all this, and that treatment will be quickly successful.
Take care,
Melinda

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and kind words. I am feeling very anxious, scared, angry etc etc.
Today my doctor rang to bring forward my appointment till mid next week because they are doing some further testing on my biopsy and are waiting for the Pathology report.  So who knows what they have found probably transformed DLBC, my first malt transformed to high grade.  I am not finding much good stuff to read and am finding it hard to be positive.  I know my sjogrens is causing Lymphoma but geez does it have to take over  my LIFE!!!
I have the best husband and my beautiful three children that one day l want to see them get married and have children and be there for them all.  LIFE SUCKS!!!

Sorry, just had to vent out  and this is the best place for it.

Take care everyone, l will keep you posted.

You have much to look forward to; take things a day at a time, and look forward to tomorrow.

Annie I am sorry to hear this news, but I did say a prayer, and trust that things will not be as bad as you might think.

Life isn't fair, but it is full of wonderful things too. Hang in there though its hard, and wait until you have more explained of what is ahead.

Just go right now, and block out this news, and have fun with your hubby and kids, and make a wonderful day.

God Bless
