My MD just prescribed Celexa and I'm worried that it's going to make the dryness worse!  Has anyone else taken this drug and made their dryness worse?  My mouth and eyes are already dry enough!

I have been on Celexa for many years. It was prescribed to help with low blood pressure.  I passed out often. Always was dizzy..thought everyone was like that!  I have not notice any extra dryness at all in any areas.  It takes a bit to build up in your system....REALLY do not drink with it at all in the beginning.  One drink and you are toast, lol.  Good luck!

I have been on many different anti depressants. I have never noticed any extra dryness.

For me dryness wouldn't stop me from taking the med. My life is soooo much better medicated.
