They were so cute. The Pastor asked them if they had the rings - they said yes - then they just put them on! Ha HA! Too cute.

So instead of the Pastor having them say, "with this ring I thee wed", he said, "look into xxx's eyes and repeat after me". OMG they were precious, so nervous, so cute.

She giggled then cried, then giggled, then cried thru the whole thing. My son just watched her, then he'd look at me a few times. I just smiled and gave him an accepting nod at it all and I could tell he felt better.

They are both just babies, she's 21 and he's 22 - fledglings really.

But I must admit, even though it was beautiful, heartwarming, and will be one of my most precious memories....I'M GLAD IT'S OVER  :)

Thank you both! I am a happy momma.

Congrats to you on surviving and enjoying the wedding. They are so much fun. Seems like a wedding is just about the only thing I have done in my life that has been a few hours of fun like no care in the world.

Of course, I was the mother of the groom. Then the next day I woke up with the old weakness and exhaustion and headache and soon trouble breathing and onto the steroids. Did this with every wedding. Even the good stress can be hard!!!

Hope you are recovering nicely. Also, did anyone video this so that you can watch this again. Have them watch it on their first anniversary. Yes, they are young at 21 and 22. I was 21 and hubby was 26 when we got married. I look back and I think "man, was I a greenhorn then." The years add some wisdom is spite of what we do!!! Good luck girl. Irish

Awww how sweet, and for the newlyweds too.  ;)  I was smiling just reading your emotions of the ceremony. I have a son, and have been through this. It is something to never forget.

I hope they both have a very long, happy, blessed marriage. You did good mom!

Thank you!

I wish we could have afforded a videographer. We had a couple of photographers though.

I'm feeling OK this morning - wasn't expecting that, but I'm not complaining!!!

You're right about the world stopping for this event. That's a good way to describe it. I was completely unaware of anything else in the world going on. It was a blissful moment for sure.

I can't wait to see the pictures.

When my niece married her most excellent husband, the minister said omething about compromising and each would think the other got the better deal, they stopped and did a "rock paper scissors" in the middle of the ceremony. And the groom and his attendants wore red Converse tennies.

It was a great wedding. And an amazing marriage. I hope your kids enjoy what they are.

Congratulations!
