now left eye after 5 years is better & its my right eye bone dry/burn.. :(((

well i guess sjogrens really does move around... for over 5 years it was always my left eye that was worse..now all puncta are closed and my right is bone dry & burning for the past few weeks.. I am hoping it will let up but of course the left eye is overtearing--it is quite odd how this disease works...

i figured my left eye would always be the worst one... i guess it is like any other disease... symptoms wane-up and down... change all the time..

would love any advise or just comments... thanks everyone.. val

  Val, It has been said many many times before that SS is the most giving complaint of all!
      It seems as tho it can hit us anywhere. anytime..Sorry I have no  magic potion to offer!

    My left eye has and is the worst one, tho' I must admit to having a cataract in the left eye, so my right eye does most of the seeing.
I pray my right eye stays as it, as the left with the cataract will always be troublesome, because there is no way I can have surgery on it.   They are both dry as sand, and that ain't going to change ever. So I have to deal with it and all the other stuff that comes with it, but I must admit to having a good cry now and again through this complaint changing my life .

thanks Dolly.... i just get frustrated..need to get on w/ my life... there are no magic pills/ rx's or herbals to help... some help a bit but at the end of the day.............. it is what it is  i guess..

Somewhere heard that eyes become dry and start burning because of deficiency of Vit D, did you checked up for your vitamin reports??
Also will suggest to go for an eye specialist before this hurts you more!

thanks..yeah they test me for vit d all the time and its in the normal range-nowhere near low..plus i take vit d -its with my fish oill.. i will keep it in mind..i think its just hte sjogrens tho. cause it switched eyes..weird..thanks tho!
