OH dear,

Eating raisin bran for breakfast.

And the piece of mental that is this dental implant, or the top of it, fell out!

Eeek.

I feel ok, but will see the dentist at 4:30 today to find out what's going on.

I don't think this was in the plan for my recovery.

Must Google what happens next.

I'll keep you posted, of course.

Hugs

Sorry to hear this.

They have done mine different than yours, only one step at a time.

Got bone grafting done, have to wait 4 months for it to heal.
Then implant put in, another 4 months for healing.
Then tooth put on implant.

I wonder why drs do it different ways!

YAY!

It was just the temporary core that they screw into the implant.

It looks like a stud earring.

They cleaned it up and screwed it back in.

Not too tight, so if it gets loose again I'll go in and they'll tighten it up a bit.

Otherwise it was doing well.

Phew.

So glad

False alarm.

Glad I didn't swallow it, tho'.

I think that part is to keep the gum from growing over the actual implant.  Hopefully they screwed it on a bit tighter this time!

Glad it wasn't anything more serious.
